Awarded directly by the festival scholarship committee, the two $ 1000.00 scholarships are presented to two residents of Manhattan who are either currently enrolled in college or are seniors in High School.
The winners of the scholarship must submit an essay before February 22, be in the Parade, Appear at the Friday Night Awards ceremony in the Entertainment Tent, and attend the Parade and Awards Ceremony on Saturday..

Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
A sum of $ 500.00 will be given to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce to augment its own scholarship program. Given to the Chamber in appreciation for starting Manhattan Irish Fest, potential candidates should contact the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce directly for details on qualifications.

When the Irish American Society of County Will began running the festival in 2005, the first big change done by the organization was to introduce a scholarship for the "King and Queen of the Fest". Somewhat unique, as it is offered to High School Seniors as well as current college students, the Scholarships have been won by the Following outstanding individuals.
